Tome

I fell into fantasy and sci-fi long before algorithms started deciding what I should read or watch. First anime and manga, then The Lord of the Rings, before losing way too many hours to Warcraft II and Diablo. 🎮📚 No regrets.

In real life, I've been working in digital for over twenty years. I co-founded Avygeo, a collaborative travel guide, and today I run TomeHero. This project was born from a very simple frustration: finding your next book, series, or game when you're into fantasy, sci-fi, RPGs, or strategy is surprisingly hard.

The idea is straightforward: help fans discover great works through critics who actually think like them. Follow the reviews that speak to you, explore recommendations from people who inspire you, not from anonymous crowds. Because the opinion of a reader or player you respect is often worth far more than a global rating. ⭐

Unapologetic takes are more than welcome here. Some wildly popular titles strike me as overrated, at the expense of overlooked gems. What do you think? If a recommendation makes you raise an eyebrow, that's probably a sign the discussion is worth having. 😄

➡️ You'll find my personal reviews on the Bill account. I wanted to keep a clear separation between my role as founder and my opinions as a regular fan. Because yes, first and foremost I'm a fan who decided to build the tool he was missing.
