Simply more God of War

I don't think it's a criticism to say that Ragnarok is simply more God of War. It doesn't provide any huge updates to gameplay and more or less continues exactly where the previous story left off. But it felt like home coming back to this game after playing God of War a while back.

Gameplay and fighting are top-notch. Very fluid, and your weapons feel like an extension of you. Visuals are also even better than the original, which is a real compliment. In my opinion, the big prize goes to the sound effects department. Every sound in this game feels crisp and satisfying, even something as simple as opening a stone chest.

These games are some of the best ever made. Looking forward with cautious optimism to the coming spinoff.
