Surprisingly excellent addition to the Hunger Games universe

Normally, when an author returns to a best-selling world after years, it comes across as a soulless cash grab. That has not been the case with Suzanne Collins. This novel follows the main villain from the original Hunger Games trilogy, and you genuinely want to like him as a boy in the story. Hunger Games was always one of the more mature YA dystopian books, and this prequel showed off Collins' skills even more.
