Hayate the Combat Butler

The long-running gag manga by Kenjiro Hata never disappoints. It is structured much like Gintama, with some 4th wall breaking and meta humor paired with scenes of everyday life and sprinkled with serious stories every now and then. The Mykonos arc is a true masterpiece with some of the best character work, showing that Hata can indeed do serious scenes. As for the art style, he did change art styles midway through the series, but that is not a big deal at all, as the manga was very enjoyable. Just wishing the Mykonos arc would get an anime adaptation as they skipped over it.
