High Stakes Lore Worth the 500 Episode Grind
The character growth and animation are a solid 4 stars that deliver during the deep parts of the series, but it can feel like they're coasting during filler detours.
The soundtrack for me sits at a 3. It sets the mood but doesn't always have that punch to match the intensity of the storyline.

It Would Have Been Better If It Were Shorter
However, I eventually threw in the towel long before the end. It just became excessively drawn out.
