Weak plot but fun gameplay and characters

Halo 5 has a soft spot for me. Not only does it feature Nathan Fillion, but it's gorgeous and feels fluid to play. 343 Industries seemed to get a much better grasp of how to make weapons feel good in this game, even if they're not up to the standards set by the earlier Bungie entries in the franchise.

On the negative side, the campaign on Legendary is punishingly difficult compared to all the other Halo games, and the story is painfully weak, mostly revolving around your former companion AI trying to take over the galaxy. Besides that, it's a blast to play and still offers a good experience more than ten years later.
