A classic that still holds up after all this time...for the right player.

World of Warcraft is a classic that still holds up remarkably well for the right player. There are countless MMOs inspired by it, so if you have never tried the genre’s biggest name, it is absolutely worth a look. For fans of RPGs and fantasy worlds, there is still a massive amount to enjoy. That said, the price tag and ongoing subscription are a very understandable turnoff for newcomers. WoW remains influential for a reason, but it is not for everyone. If its style does not click with you, there are plenty of other MMORPG fish in the sea.
