Not well known but quite engaging

I don't know anyone who knows this game, but I really enjoyed it 🙂

You move your group across the main map of the former Dominican Republic and then former Mexico, during the time of the conquistadors. You have to assign each member to a task: hunting for food, standing guard, crafting, etc.

You have various decisions to make that affect the story. The underlying theme: what kind of colonizer will you be?

My favorite part: the battles and the progression of your squad. It's turn-based, more tactical than Heroes of Might and Magic, for example. You're limited on the number of fighters who can take part in battles, so choose carefully, and let your wounded rest so they can recover. Same goes for choosing which characters get promoted and can benefit from various bonuses. Again, choose wisely!
