Don't let the art style fool you.

I watched Takopi's Original Sin quite a while ago, but the experience of finishing it is something I'll never forget. I remember going into it thinking it was just a cute, weird anime about an alien, but it quickly turned into one of the most intense and emotional things I've ever experienced. It really caught me off guard with how HEAVY and DARK it got so fast. Even now, whenever I see clips or art from the anime, I still get that same heavy feeling. T_T

It's definitely one of those rare series that leaves a permanent mark on you. It is honestly a journey that sticks with you long after the final episode ends.
